Albuquerque Compost Collection, LLC, was founded in 2018 to help Albuquerque residents divert food waste and other compostable materials away from local landfills and convert them into fertile soil amendments instead.
Our flagship service, Little Green Bucket, provides weekly and biweekly food scrap collection for homes and small businesses in Albuquerque, Los Ranchos del Albuquerque, the South Valley, Corrales and Rio Rancho, as well as community compost drop-off opportunities in central Albuquerque.
Little Green Bucket currently composts over 1000 tons of food waste per year.
In 2025, we’ll be opening Full Sun Compost, a community-centered compost facility and sustainability hub.
